I sat down in a patch of sun near the sandy hollow. After having a hunting session with Sandpaw, it was Silverpaw's turn to train. I waited patiently for Silverpaw to come to the sandy hollow with me to train.

Jumps from tree to tree high in the sky, this was the only place she ever felt comfortable. She had no fear of falling or getting hurt. She belonged here. She spotted Hawkstar and silently climbed from branch to branch down to the ground "Can we train?"

"Of course," I meowed. "I was waiting for you. We can do some battle training," I suggested, then padded to the battle training area.

"Okay, first, I'll teach you to belly rake. When an enemy pins you down," I pinned Silverpaw to the ground. "Slice their belly with your back paws, claws unsheathed," I stepped off of Silverpaw. "Now, try it on me, and remmeber to keep your claws sheathed." I meowed, quickly pinning Silverpaw back down.

She shoved up with her paws and raked then down on Hawkstars belly, but she didn't feel right. She felt as if she didn't belong doing this

I jumped off of Silverpaw. "That was good," I meowed, "But you seem distracted. Is something bothering you?" I asked.

"Alright," I meowed, a little doubtful. "You seemed to do okay with that. We'll learn about one or two more moves, then we'll go back to camp." I sat down and thought for a moment. "Okay, now, I'm going to pin you down, and I want you to get me off any way you can." I pinned Silverpaw down to the ground. She could play dead or kick my belly; I wondered what move she would use.

Thinks for a minute then rolls her head up to her chin and lunges forward knocking Hawkstar away from her then she jumped up

I started to pad back to camp, flicking my tail for Silverpaw to follow. "Why? I saw there was something bothering you earlier," I asked, beginning to feel concerned.
