A small white head poked its way out of the Nursery, followed by a slightly spiky body. It was early morning, and everyone else was either patrolling or asleep. The night guard himself had dozed off. Snowkit scrabbled beneath the camp barrier, popping up a moment later on the other side. The woods loomed over her impressively, but she was too anxious about getting caught to admire them. She was impatient to become an apprentice, and she wanted to see the woods for herself.
Taking a deep breath, Snowkit stepped into the trees.

Snowkit jumped as the strange, slightly glowing cat seemed to appear out of nowhere. "Uhm... nothing. I wasn't doing anything. I was just... going to the fresh-kill pile." Snowkit failed to realize that the fresh-kill pile was empty, and that she had walked straight past it without paying any attention or even turning her head to look at it. Hoping to distract the she-cat, she mewed, "Who are you? You don't smell like a BloodClan cat."
