Emberstep paced a few tail-lengths away from Scarheart and Mosspath just inside of the border on rogue territory. The mouse she had been chasing scampered deeper into the forest. With Scarheart and the other deputy hidden by shrubbage, she thought that none of the rogues- her former kin- were around.
