Lightningpaw padded in. She called in the den. "Hawkstar? ya there?" She waited for he reply.

Hawkstar's eyes came up with suprise; she had forgotten about Hawkstalon's kits. How stupid of me! she thought, a little crossly, to herself. "Right.. I forgot about that... Would you like me to be your mentor?"

"Ok.. We can start training at sunhigh. You can get something form the fresh-kill pile before we leave." she meowed, and she flicked her tail to tell her she could leave.
