I walked past the other wolf while I was finding a place to settle for the night. I stopped, staring at the wolf. I then continued walking, speeding up my pace a little. I then disappeared into the forest.

(Fang) The bullet shot my leg. I wanted to howl with pain, but I just gritted my teeth and growled. If I didn't get out of here, the wolf and the twoleg would come kill me for sure. I forced myself to run, limping on my back right leg.
