I heard rustling in some bushes, then reconized Sandpaw's scent. "I know your there, Sandpaw," I meowed, laughing a little.

I laughed a little again. "Okay. We're going to have a hunting session. Now, watch." I flicked my tail to tell Sandpaw to keep silent, then tasted the air. I scented a vole, then spotted it under a small leaf. I crouched down and crept towards the vole. Once I was close enough, I bunched my muscles, then leaped onto the vole, killing it with a swift blow with my paw. I padded back over to Sandpaw, then sat down and dropped the vole. "Now you try," I meowed.

"It's okay," I mewed, "You won't get it right the first time. Be sure you don't get too close to scare the prey; when you pounce it will already be too late. Or you could try to pounce quicker. Try again," I crouched down and kept silent, careful not to scare any prey around.

he crept through the bushes stalking a vole. he pounced a little sooner and came down on it a killed it with a swift blow"i got it!"

"Good! Now lets try to catch something else and we'll take our kill back to camp." I scented a bird in a tree near us. Lowering my voice, I meowed, "Birds are harder to catch. You just have to be quick." I stalked to the tree, looking up if the bird had seen me. It didn't, so I leaped up into the tree, ready to attack the bird. The bird screeched with suprise, and I killed it with a bite. I carried the bird back to Sandpaw. Dropping the bird, I meowed, "Now try to find a bird and kill it. And I'll get these feathers out of my mouth," I muttered more quietly to myself.

laughed at her comment he heard.he found a bird and quitely came to the tree seeing that the bird hadnt noticed him he sprinted up the tree and killed it with a swift bite

"Great! Lets take this kill back to camp." I meowed, then picked up the vole and bird that I had caught and headed towards camp.

Sadly watches them from the top of a tall tree then jumps away wishing she could train
